Moshe Mano

The Mano Holdings Group was founded and developed by owner and CEO Moshe Mano, who has overseen the Group from its humble beginnings as a small shipping company to its current status as a leading market force in the fields of shipping, tourism and finance, as well as, being Israel's leading vacation cruise operator.

Moshe Mano,
the younger son of the late Mordechai Mano, decided in his 30s to realize his father's dream of establishing a new shipping line under his ownership – Mano Maritime Ltd. His father, Mordechai Mano, a native of the Greek port of Thessaloniki, was a pioneer of shipping and finance in Israel with a reputation for fairness, honesty and humility, a man of vision who capitalized on his special talent for developing friendly business contacts and relationships around the world to set up and manage shipping and finance companies in Israel even before the establishment of the State of Israel.

The cornerstone of Moshe Mano's new company was professionalism and reliability supported by cumulative experience and excellent international relations. Beginning on this basis, and under the umbrella of the Mano Holdings Group, he added other business interests, eventually expanding into one of Israel's leading shipping and vacation tourist operators and employing several hundred employees in a variety of fields.

For many years Moshe Mano has served as Honorary Consul for Russia in Haifa and the north, contributing greatly to strengthening financial and cultural ties between the two countries, especially during the period of mass immigration to Israel from the former Soviet Union.

In addition to his regular business activities, Moshe Mano is a strong supporter of his local community, contributing to many volunteer organizations in Haifa and the north of Israel. For these activities he was awarded a special decoration ("Yakir Hail Hayam") by the Israeli Navy.

Moshe Mano
also serves on the boards of several bodies, including the northern arm of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the early 1990s he founded Israel's first regional radio station, broadcasting to the Haifa area and the north of the country. It blazed the trail for tens of regional stations around the country.

Moshe Mano
is Head of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the north, as well as several other organizations.

Moshe Mano is a member of the Board of Governors of the University of Haifa, a director of the board of the Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Haifa the North, and a member of the board of directors of several other organizations
